In recent times Shiraz has become the signature red grape of Australia, and plantings are rapidly increasing in California. Elsewhere in the United States Shiraz vineyards can be found in niche microclimates such as Boordys South Mountain Vineyard where the growing season can properly ripen the deeply colored grape clusters. Currently the fruit for our Shiraz comes from a small vineyard in Lake County, California, however as Boordys plantings mature the content of our own fruit will increase.Appellation: American grapes grown in California
